Hello, guys!!
A new week has come and a new task is waiting for you))
Since we still keep discussing 'Family ties' and have already acquired some new vocabulary, I thought: why not have my students tell me about their families? I hope you have already understood I am a very curious person and every piece of your family information you consider avaliable for me is welcome. This time you will get introduced to a new online tool for making presentations (projects) which combines using pictures, videos and, what's the most amazing, your voice. Of course, text comments are also avaliable, but since I want you to speak, this time you will have to comment on your slides by recording your own voice. That's why the tool is called Voicethread))
So, here is my task:
Make a Voicethread project about your family, using our active vocabulary:
take after, looks, unique, relative, grow up, marriage, pass down, pass away, break up, brought up. look up to, turn to
In ordet to do it have a look at my VoiceThread project/presentation which was designed to introduce you to VOICETHREAD (in case there is something you do not quite understand feel free to comment on the corresponding slide and I will help by adding extra explanation as a reply. For adding comments just click the "+" at the buttom which activates each time you move the mouse):

2) When you start making your project first plan it. For this purpose you will have to;
# Where were you brought up? By whom?
# What was passed down to you by your ancestors?
# Whom do you look up to? Why?
# Whom do you turn to for advice? Why?
# Whom do you take after? Which features of your looks do you resemble by?
# How many family members does your family consist of?
and so on..
Feel free to reorder the questions the way they fit better to your project.
As mentioned in the video, paste the HTML code or the link as a comment to this assignment. In case you paste the link do not forget to mention who has access to your account by inserting my email [email protected]
Don't forget to check "MY FEETBACK" blog page to see my reflections. You will find a link to my scoring rubric there.
- decide which pictures or photos you will use (you may use photos downloaded on your computer as well as find pictures from internet sources). On a sheet of paper draw a schematical plan of how your project will look like.
- Write a description for each slide/photo which you will later use as a voice comment. Do not forget to use the vocabulary I mentioned in the task (at least 5 words/phrases)
- When presenting your family ties you might like to use answers to these questions as support;
